Conference Information
The Thirteenth Annual Conference of the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (AMTE) will be held in Orlando, Florida from Thursday, February 5 through Saturday, February 7, 2009. Conference sessions will begin after lunch on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. on February 5, 2009. The Opening General Session will begin about 5:00 p.m. on Thursday followed by dinner on your own.

Log in and click the Thirteenth Annual Conference link on the left navigation bar. Your information will be loaded from the last time you registered, all you have to do is verify the information is correct, select your registration type and if you would like to register from the pre-conference events, and click submit.

If you are a new member and wish to attend the conference, you can still use the form to register online. A new member profile will be made for you when you register.
You will receive a visual confirmation as well as an email confirmation when you are finished registering. Please print or keep this for your records, as it contains your current username and password, as well as your receipt data. You can access your receipt later, but you will need to keep your username and password in a safe place as it is required to access your receipt.

Conference Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your conference registration, you may request a partial refund using the following refund schedule:
- Prior to Registration deadline: $25 processing fee
- Between Registration deadline and Late Registration deadline: $50 processing fee
- After Late Registration deadline: no refund can be given
Please note that your request for a refund must be received in writing (email
or fax to Nadine Bezuk) by the close of business (PST) on January 14, 2008. After
this date, no refunds can be given. This policy is necessary to cover
commitments to the hotel and other conference-related expenses.
Please allow four
to six weeks for your refund to be processed.

The conference will be held at the Orlando Airport Marriott Hotel (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/mcoap-orlando-airport-marriott). We have a limited block of reduced-price rooms available at $159/night (single or double occupancy). We encourage you to reserve your room soon either online or by calling the toll-free number below. Be sure to mention the “AMTE Conference” when you call.
Make your reservation by Friday, December 5, 2008 to get our special conference room rates. Please be aware that the conference block may be sold out by this date. It is best to reserve early. Once the room block is full, the hotel will accept reservations at the hotel’s prevailing rate and only on a space-available basis.
