The following statement was officially approved by the AMTE Board of Directors on 8/21/2015:
AMTE recognizes and welcomes the many Annual Conference participants that take the opportunity to bring family and children, and schedule a family vacation before or after the AMTE meeting. However, due to the size and professional nature of the AMTE Conference, the meeting itself is not an appropriate setting for children. The hotel concierge will be able to recommend activities available for children while you attend the conference. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please know that due to safety concerns, cost, and lack of extra space, we are not able to accommodate children to attend meal functions.
