In the Webinar, AACTE Director of Government Relations Deborah Koolbeck walked through the regulations process now that the public comment period is over, and facilitated discussion of specific actions that educators can take to lead the narrative going forward.
Meanwhile, we will continue to track the progress of the regulations and how AMTE members can respond. The public comment period through the Federal Register, which closed last month, was just the first step in ongoing advocacy and outreach necessary to ensure the voice of our profession is expressed to policy makers and key stakeholders as the regulation process unfolds.
