K-8 Mathematics Education Position, Tenure-Track

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at James Madison University invites applications for a tenure-track position in mathematics education, starting August 2016. Candidates should be invested in the teaching and improvement of mathematics content courses for prospective PreK-8 teachers. Candidates should have research interests in some area of PreK-12 mathematics education, including teacher education. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in mathematics education; a master's degree or equivalent in mathematics or statistics is preferred. The successful applicant will join a growing number of mathematics educators in the department.
