We are looking for a dynamic faculty member eager to teach, mentor, and advise the next generation of teachers. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in mathematics education or related field with evidence of coursework in mathematics education (ABD considered). Experience teaching mathematics to elementary or middle school students is required. Teaching experience or research at the elementary level is preferred. Teaching experience in diverse settings, a record of scholarly work, active participation in professional organizations, and experience supervising field and clinical experiences are preferred. The ability to work collaboratively with campusbased and school‐based colleagues is essential. The successful candidate for this position will hold a nine month, tenure track appointment with the Department of Teacher Education with half of their time dedicated as a faculty associate of the Kentucky Center for Mathematics (http://kymath.org).
