Penn State Harrisburg, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, invites applications for a Lecturer in Education – Mathematics. This is a 36-week, 1-year, Fixed-Term faculty appointment to begin August 2015. An earned doctorate in mathematics education with a strong background in mathematics is preferred. Full-time PK-12 teaching experience is required. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with pre-service and in-service teachers to promote best practice in teaching mathematics. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate mathematics and mathematics education courses in the teacher certification program, teaching graduate courses in the M.Ed. in Teaching and Curriculum, and an elementary statistics course.
