Tacoma Community College (TCC) invites applications for a Precollege Math Instructor in the Transitional Studies program. This position is responsible for developing, preparing and teaching courses in precollege mathematics to students registered in the Adult Basic Skills, High School 21+, and GED preparation program. Our ideal candidate will have:

  •          Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Math Education from an accredited college or university -or- Master’s Degree in Adult Education or closely related field from an accredited college or university; combined with significant coursework in mathematics at the upper division or graduate level.
  •          Experience assessing student abilities in the area of precollege education.
  •          Experience with curriculum and program development.
  •          Basic skills in computer literacy:  MS Word, Internet, Microsoft Outlook, and email correspondence.
