Mathematics: Assistant Professor to provide effective teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; advise graduate and undergraduate students; maintain an active research program in mathematics education; foster connections between the university and school districts; seek funding when possible to support work; provide service to the institution.  Position begins August 2017.

Required: PhD in Mathematics Education or related discipline by start date of appointment.

Strong candidates will have experience teaching content courses for early, middle or secondary school teachers; mathematics teaching experience which includes curriculum design, teaching of inquiry-based mathematics courses or work with in-service teachers; demonstrated successful research agenda.
