Margaret (Peg) Smith is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Pittsburgh. Over the past two decades she has been developing research-based materials for use in the professional development of mathematics teachers and studying what teachers learn from the professional development in which they engage.

About the Conference Proposal Process

The deadline for proposals to present at the 2018 Annual AMTE Conference was May 15, 2017, with email notification to accepted presenters sent on August 30, 2017. Please see the online proposal submission system to check on the status of a proposal.
