The Stanford Graduate School of Education (GSE) seeks an established scholar of Teacher Education to join its faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to play a significant role in shaping the future of Stanford’s teacher education program (STEP), among other contributions to the GSE. The candidate will teach courses and advise students within the GSE at the masters and doctoral levels, including courses in STEP. This search is for an established, tenured scholar at the associate or full professor rank. Candidates should have an excellent record of scholarship, teaching, and leadership in the field of teacher education.

The GSE faculty represents considerable diversity, including in its theoretical, methodological, and substantive expertise and interests.  We seek a colleague who can work effectively within this multidisciplinary community.

All applicants should provide a cover letter describing their research agenda, teaching, and other relevant experience, a curriculum vitae and a list of three references with complete addresses and phone numbers.  The committee will request letters of recommendation, samples of publications, and evidence of effective teaching from a small group of finalists.  Review of applications will begin on December 1, 2016 and continue until the position is filled.  Please apply at http://apply.interfolio.com/38694.
