Secondary Math Teacher

We are recruiting full time math teachers on behalf of the Savannah-Chatham School District.  Openings are for the upcoming school year and moving bonuses are available. 

This position is responsible for providing appropriate learning experiences and educational opportunities for each student assigned to the classroom.  

Required:

• Valid Georgia certification in the assigned teaching field.
• All middle school core content teachers must have a Reading endorsement.
• Mastery of content areas

Teaching Tasks:

• Teaches at an appropriate instructional level.
• Provides student focused content development
• Assesses and encourages student progress
• Manages learning environment

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follows professional practices consistent with school and district policies in working with students' records, parents, and colleagues.
• Complies with school, district, and state administrative regulations and Board of Education policies
