Bowdoin College invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Director and Lecturer, Quantitative Reasoning (QR) Program beginning July 2017, with teaching responsibilities as a Lecturer in QR. Reporting to the Director of the QR Program, the Assistant/Associate Director will be responsible for providing support of the College’s teaching and learning initiatives related to quantitative reasoning and support ongoing efforts to foster quantitative literacy across the curriculum.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching and show a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education. We are particularly interested in candidates who are committed to the instruction and support of a diverse student population and who will enrich and contribute to the ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic diversity of the College.
