CA seeks a dynamic, energetic, and creative mathematics teacher to join a collegial department as a full-time member effective August 2017. A full-time position consists of four sections of mathematics and an advisory.
A successful candidate will be not only mathematically prepared to teach a college preparatory curriculum from beginning Algebra through AP Calculus but also one who strives to be innovative in his/her teaching and is willing to explore current “best practices” in CA’s technology-enhanced, student-centered, and increasingly investigation-based classrooms. We seek those candidates having demonstrated experience using various technologies (e.g., iPad, Geometer’s Sketchpad, TI calculators, etc.) on various platforms as a regular component of classroom practice. Coding experience desirable, but not required.
