Location
University School (Cleveland, Ohio) seeks a full-time Middle School Math Department Chair/Teacher for the 2017-2018 academic year. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate or graduate degree in math and/or a related field and experience teaching math at the Middle School and/or Upper School level. He or she will be a dynamic classroom presence. As a leader, he or she will be excited and energized about leading the Middle School department through curricular change and will be proactive in coordinating with the Upper School department chair as changes are implemented across divisions. Experience with an integrated math curriculum would be a plus. Outside of the classroom, the candidate should be eager to contribute to the larger life of the school and will serve as an advisor to a small group of students.
