Utah State University's School of Teacher Education and Leadership (TEAL) offers a 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We are looking for a creative, visionary, and energetic faculty member for our innovative program in elementary education. Responsibilities will include: teaching (including teaching broadcast, online, and/or face-to-face); scholarship; collaborative program coordination; management of clinical partnerships for field placements; supervising students in the field; and service to the university, community, and field. The role assignment is 70% teaching, 20% research, and 10% professional service (3-3 teaching load). Applicants should have teaching and scholarly interests in one of the following areas: elementary literacy/language arts, elementary social studies, elementary science education, elementary mathematics education, or differentiation and assessment of learning. This position will be physically located at the USU Eastern Campus in Price. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2019 and will continue until the position is filled.
