The Mathematics Department of the College of Science at Utah Valley University (UVU) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Mathematics Education, to begin in August 2020. Minimum qualifications include: (1) an earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in mathematics education or a related field with a minimum 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics; (2) a minimum of one year experience teaching K-12 mathematics. Responsibilities will include teaching Math for Elementary Teachers I and II (Math 2010 & Math 2020), Algebraic Reasoning with Modeling (Math 2000), Algebra for Secondary Mathematics Teaching (Math 3030), and lower-division mathematics courses as needed.
