Assistant Professor in Elementary Education (Mathematics)

The Department of Teacher Education and Learning Sciences (TELS) in NC State's College of Education invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Elementary Education with an emphasis on preparing/
developing elementary teachers of mathematics and conducting synergistic research. The faculty member will
work in the Elementary Education in Mathematics and Science (EEMS) doctoral concentration, specifically with
doctoral students who choose a mathematics focus. The faculty member will also prepare prospective elementary
teachers to teach mathematics and contribute to the mathematics specialist graduate program (M.Ed.) for
practicing teachers.
