The Carol Malloy Research Symposium will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 to honor the legacy of Carol E. Malloy, Ph.D. While there is no cost to attend the Symposium, you MUST register through Laurie Norman (see below) so we can have a nametag for you and an accurate count both for seating and food. The Symposium is being held at the Rizzo Conference Center at Meadowmont in Chapel Hill, NC (http://www.rizzoconferencecenter.com/.). All meetings and meals will be in Loudermilk Hall. Parking is available at the Rizzo Center.
The day will begin with coffee and light refreshments from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the Magnolia Room. The opening session will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. with Dr. William Malloy introducing the keynote speaker Dr. Robert Q. Berry III, Ph.D. We will then have two concurrent sessions discussing various research topics, followed by a luncheon featuring guest speakers on Carol Malloy's contributions to professional organizations. Following lunch, we will have two more concurrent sessions, a panel discussion and the closing session featuring remarks from the three deans who worked with Carol Malloy at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Education. At 4:00 p.m. we will have a reception during which we will show a video tribute to Carol.
