Tenure-track Position
The Mathematics Department invites applications for tenure-track faculty appointment (at assistant, associate or full professor) commencing September 1, 2015. There is flexibility with respect to specialization but a demonstrated ability to teach introductory through advanced undergraduate mathematics courses, graduate math education courses, and math methods courses for pre-service teachers is expected.
A doctorate in mathematics education or related field is preferred. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in mathematics or equivalent, and demonstrated potential for research and publication in mathematics or mathematics education. In extraordinary cases, as determined by the University, a terminal degree may not be required.
