Rebecca Fowler is a second grade teacher in Missouri. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education, is pursuing her Masters of Science in Elementary Mathematics Education, and has taught in the elementary grades for eight years. Rebecca is an experienced facilitator of building workshops. This year she will be facilitating several building workshops implementing the Common Core Mathematics standards in elementary classrooms.

This year, Rebecca will be part of the first cohort to purse the Elementary Mathematics Specialist Certification for the state of Missouri.  She is enrolled in Northwest Missouri State University where she is currently working on the two-year program.  She is currently pursuing opportunities to help her fellow colleagues adapt best mathematics practices in their classrooms. She is grateful to AMTE’s Mathematics Specialist Scholarship for their assistance in her continuing education!
