Biography
Keri Richburg is pursuing her doctorate in Mathematics Education from Auburn University. She is currently a lecturer at Troy University in the Department of Teacher Education, where she teaches both elementary and high school mathematics methods courses and general education courses and is the program coordinator for Secondary and P-12 education programs at Troy. Keri is in her tenth year of education and has previous experiences as both a high school mathematics teacher and mathematics specialist for AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative), where she served as a professional development leader, writer, and coach. Keri's research interests include how the teacher community impacts teaching practice and how to build a community between teacher preparation programs and school systems to better teach candidates' transition from undergraduate studies to their professional careers.
