Vision for and commitment to AMTE:
As the largest organization for mathematics teacher educators, it is important that AMTE continue to appeal to those with interests in content or pedagogy or both.   As the voice for mathematics teacher educators, AMTE must grow in public and governmental awareness.  We must maintain and communicate with a diverse and engaged membership.   Conferences and publications must continue to provide a balance of research findings, theory, and practice.   As a mathematics educator by training who has spent most of my professional life teaching mathematics, I hope to help AMTE grow in membership and influence while providing high-quality services to its members.
