The Service, Teaching and Research (STaR) Program is now accepting applications for the 2020 cohort, which will meet in Park City, UT June 14-19, 2020. The STaR program is open to faculty members at U.S. institutions who are in their first or second year of an academic appointment as a mathematics educator at an institution of higher education. The program provides an opportunity for early career faculty members to develop a network of peers and to interact with more experienced colleagues around issues of service, teaching, and research. Application deadline is December 1, 2019.

Involvement of members is vitally important in furthering AMTE’s Mission to promote mathematics teacher education. The priority consideration deadline for committee service is August 31, but please know there are ongoing needs including publication review, task forces, and more.
