The Indiana University Southeast School of Education invites passionate, creative, innovative, and dynamic individuals to apply for an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education with an elementary education emphasis to start August 2022. This is a 10-month tenure track position with potential of summer employment. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Education with a major in mathematics education, or a closely related field. ABD candidates will be considered with the limitation of starting tenure track status only after doctoral degree has been earned. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission.

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate students in elementary and middle school mathematics education; Advise and mentor elementary education majors; Provide coordination for clinical placements and supervision; Engage in traditional, blended, and online teaching practices; Pursue, establish, and maintain an active research agenda; Assist in accreditation processes; and Participate and take on leadership roles on committees serving the university, school of education and the community.

IU Southeast is located at New Albany, Indiana, 47150,  7 miles north of the Ohio river, right across from Louisville, KY
