We are searching for a math teacher to help with basic math skills for our students.
We teach live science and math classes online, and would like to have an open study hall / office hours where students can come in and ask questions pertaining to 4th - 6th grade math.
Your job is to do a couple of (easy) math problems to start off the class (we will provide these with solutions) and then to open it up to answer questions from the students.
Here's a video that outlines what we will be doing and what we are looking for:
Video submission is required. Your application will be rejected if it does not include a video.
Here's what to do:
Please create an (edited) video of yourself demonstrating how to divide two fractions, using these guidelines:
1. 3 minute max video length
2. Include a headshot when you introduce yourself and what you will talk about
3. Cut to your hands on a sheet of paper and solve a sample problem. (Use a sharpie or dark pen so it shows up well on the video.)
4. Please send video to firstname.lastname@example.org
The dates/times of your session is flexible. Expect 1-2 hours of work per week, with more hours available if this works out.
