Starting Fall 2023, the math department at Texas State University will have a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship available to work on several projects related to undergraduate mathematics research. The position will involve working in collaboration with Dr. Kate Melhuish on several projects including:
Structuring Equitable Participation in Undergraduate Proof
Generating a Research-Informed Transition to Mathematical Proof Curriculum
The math department at Texas State has a core of 18 mathematics education researchers with an active seminar and lots of opportunities to grow in your knowledge of the field and collaborate with other researchers.
Required qualifications:
- Mathematics Education Ph.D. or Ph.D. in a closely related field.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 18 graduate hours in mathematics
- knowledge of basic quantitative analysis methods
