Assistant Professor – Mathematics Education

Towson University’s Department of Mathematics seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education to begin August 2027. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Mathematics Education, Mathematics with significant experience in Mathematics Education, Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.

We welcome candidates across mathematics education specialties, including elementary, middle school, secondary, and undergraduate mathematics education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, establish a productive research program, and contribute to the department’s strong commitment to teacher preparation.
