Call for Participation! Teacher Feedback Needed! (Grades 6-8)

Dear Colleagues,

I am surveying middle school math teachers grades 6-8 to determine the extent to which teachers are using formative assessment strategies in their classrooms, and teachers’ professional development experiences.  Your responses will contribute to recommendations for professional development structures that will support teachers in their professional practice and their implementation of formative assessment strategies in mathematics.

The survey should take 15 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and confidential. Participation is voluntary. The link to the survey and the QR code are below.

This study supports the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educator (AMTE) and The National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM) position statement, “Improving Student Achievement in Mathematics Through Formative Assessment in Instruction.” The position statement can be found on the AMTE website for members.
