Houston has two airports, William P. Hobby (HOU) Airport and George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) Airport. There are several transportation options from each airport.
Note: There are two Westin hotels at the Galleria Shopping Mall in Houston. Our conference is at the Westin Galleria Houston Hotel located on West Alabama Street.
From Hobby (HOU) Airport to the Westin Galleria Hotel
Regardless of the option you choose, the trip from the airport could be 20-25 minutes in good traffic and 45-60 minutes during peak traffic, 6:30 am to 8:30 am and 4:00 to 6:00 pm. On a shuttle, the length of the trip also depends on the number of stops.

Taxi
A taxi from Hobby to the Westin is about $50 one way, though the fee also depends on the length of time of the trip. In Summer 2017, there was a 10% discount for persons 60+.

Uber and Lyft appear to be options in Houston.
From George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) Airport to the Westin Galleria Hotel
Regardless of the option you choose, the trip from the airport could be 30-40 minutes in good traffic and more than an hour during peak traffic, 6:30 am to 8:30 am and 4:00 to 6:00 pm. On a shuttle, the length of the trip also depends on the number of stops.

Westin Galleria Hotel Parking
The Westin Galleria Hotel is connected to the Galleria Shopping Center.
- Parking is complimentary in the color-named parking garages of the Galleria Shopping Center.
- The entrance to the Brown Parking Garage is located next to the hotel’s porte-cochére, covered entrance. The Brown Garage has designated parking for overnight hotel guests.
- The Orange Parking Garage has day-only parking availability close to the hotel entrance.
- Valet parking at the hotel is also available for $25 per car per day or $39 overnight (plus taxes); prices subject to change.
