At Woodinville Montessori School (WMS), we believe in more than just education; we believe in nurturing the whole child and fostering a lifelong love of learning. The Math & Science Teacher will work in a collaborative team setting and be given opportunities to utilize contemporary and Montessori methods to engage, support and continue the growth of students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, logical reasoning, data analysis, systematic investigation, and core subject knowledge. The Bothell campus is conveniently located off I-405 just north of State Route 522.

This part-time (0.4 FTE), academic year position with the hours of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.  

What You’ll Do

  • Be passionate about Physics, Chemistry, and Algebra II/ Trig.
  • Enjoy working with high school age students
  • Be committed to excellent communication with students, families, staff, and the rest of the school leadership team
  • Exhibit a high degree of organization and attention to details

What We’re Looking For

  • Undergraduate degree in math and/or graduate degree in education-related field
  • Possess experience in a Montessori school or interest in learning about Montessori pedagogy
  • Four or more years of classroom experience
  • Commitment to professional development and best practices in education
  • Commitment to meeting the needs of each student
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass background checks and TB test
