The program is also appropriate for practicing teachers who plan to remain in the classroom while serving as models of teaching excellence and promoting professional growth and advancement among their local and regional colleagues. In addition the program prepares educators for careers such as a curriculum development specialists, math education specialist for large grants or non-profit education organizations as well as working in state or federal departments of education.
