The Pennsylvania Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (PAMTE) was established as an AMTE affiliate on November 6, 2006. Annually in May, a Symposium is organized and held at Shippensburg University. All are welcome to attend!

Summary of Recent Affiliate Accomplishments and Upcoming Activities: 

The 20th annual PAMTE Symposium was held at Shippensburg University on May 20-21, 2025. The 21st annual PAMTE Symposium will be held May 19 - 20, 2027.

PAMTE is co-sponsoring the PA Mathematics Teaching Summit in at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA in partnership with NCTM affiliate PCTM. The summit will take place on October 24, 2026. The next summit will be in the fall of 2027 at a location in eastern Pennsylvania.

We continue to support a STaR fellow each year and participate in AMTE affiliate activities. We also publish newsletters twice a year for the membership.
