The Affiliate Connections Committee looks forward to holding the Affiliates Connections Session at the 2024 annual conference. Please consider sending at least one of your affiliate officers to the session. More information is forthcoming.

The Membership Committee has written a blurb in this issue of Connections about welcoming our K-12 MTEs as well as other conference newcomers. The Membership Committee is working with a subcommittee of the AMTE Board on implementing several strategies for welcoming newcomers, K-12 MTEs/teachers, and early career scholars to the conference as well as for creating a safe and inclusive space for all attendees.

There is now an opportunity to donate money to support the Early Career BIPOC Faculty Mentoring Program, which has been extremely successful. On the AMTE webpage, you can click on the purple "Support AMTE" link on the right side of the page to donate to this important program.
