The Membership Committee is happy to announce that applications for the Conference Registration & Membership Scholarship are now open. The deadline for applications is June 15, 2025, at 11:59 pm PDT. Please consider applying if you are a mathematics teacher educator (MTE) with limited travel funds to attend the 2026 Annual AMTE conference for the first or second time.

The AMTE Conference Registration & Membership Scholarship provides financial support for mathematics teacher educators (MTEs) with limited travel funds to attend the 2026 Annual AMTE conference. The scholarship aims to provide an opportunity for MTEs to attend the annual conference for the first or second time (see the Eligibility section at the link above for details), and to broaden AMTE conference participation to include MTEs from a diverse array of agencies that support mathematics teachers. For the 2026 conference, a maximum of two MTEs will be awarded this scholarship, which will cover the cost of early registration fees and one year of AMTE membership dues. To qualify, an applicant’s work must focus on the preparation or development of mathematics teachers, and the applicant must show that they have limited travel funds available from their institution or employer. Applications will be reviewed for eligibility and the potential for the applicant’s work to benefit from conference attendance. Scholarship recipients will be notified about one month before the early registration deadline.
