Biography
Corinne is a fifth-year doctoral candidate at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT, pursuing an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in mathematics education. For her dissertation, she is exploring the impact of using standards-based assessment in the math methods courses she teaches at Montana State University Billings, where she was recently hired as an assistant professor. She strives to model best practices from K-12 education for her pre-service educators and to gauge the impact those practices have at the college level. Prior to working with pre-service teachers, Corinne taught math and sociology at Chief Dull Knife College in Lame Deer, MT, and spent a year as a math tutor and home-to-school liaison for native students in Billings Public Schools.
