Biography
Kenley Ritter is a fourth-year doctoral candidate pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at Baylor University. Her research focuses on equitable teaching practices in the mathematics classroom and preparing culturally competent teachers. Prior to beginning her doctoral degree, Kenley taught high school mathematics and served as a school administrator in Texas and overseas. She holds an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University and a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from Baylor University. Kenley has a passion for equipping teachers with the resources needed to engage in humanizing mathematics education. She hopes to make an impact by empowering mathematics teachers to cultivate classrooms where all students are supported and active participants in high-quality mathematics learning.
