ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR POSITION

Faculty of Education is seeking to appoint an academic position for the Department of Mathematics and Science Education. The Program invites applications for a full-time faculty position at assistant or associate professor position to start in Fall 2017. The candidate is expected to hold a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics Teacher Education field.
MEF University is the world’s first and only flipped university established in 2012. The language of education is English and the teaching method employed is primarily the “Flipped Classroom/Learning” model. The prospective faculty members are expected to implement the Flipped Learning approach in all courses. In addition, they are expected to fulfill the requirements of “University within School” Teacher Education Model, which depends on university-school partnership. * Candidates should have: national, international scientific studies and publications,
- 2 years of teaching experience at secondary or high school level (candidates with no teaching experience will be also considered but further arrangements for teaching experience will be made),
- experience in teaching in graduate program development (experience in managing of such programs will be bonus).
