Assistant Professor of Mathematics/Statistics

Responsibilities:

Teaching a variety of undergraduate courses in mathematics or mathematics education and graduate courses in their specialty, maintaining an on-going program of research and scholarly activity, and participation in university and departmental service.

Required Qualifications:

A Doctorate in Mathematics Education and a Master's degree in Mathematics, both completed by August 15, 2019. Must have at least some collegiate teaching experience in mathematics or statistics courses at the level of the introductory college Statistics course or the Calculus sequence or below. Evidence of outstanding teaching ability. An active research program or demonstrated strong potential for research. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Candidates whose doctoral degree is not complete at the time of the submission of their application must submit with their application a timeline clarifying the completion of the doctoral degree by August 15th, 2019.
