The National College of Education at NLU seeks a dynamic, highly-qualified educator for a full-time clinical Teacher Preparation faculty position (10-month) at the Assistant Professor rank (or rank commensurate with qualifications and experience).
We are seeking a new faculty member with substantial experience in Math Education for the Teacher Preparation Master of Arts in Teaching initial licensure programs, including the grade ranges encompassing Elementary, Middle Grades and Secondary Education. The ideal candidate will also be able to teach, and lead curriculum design, for a new M.Ed. program leading to an advanced degree in teaching Mathematics, grades K-12.
The ideal candidate will also have substantial responsibilities in teaching in NLU’s long-standing and rapidly growing Teacher Preparation residency programs. Candidates with both higher education and teaching experience, or experience teaching in Math Education programs, are highly desired.
