Math Teacher

Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking a middle school Math Teacher.  The position will be for the 2023-2024 Academic Year.

Job Requirements:

The candidate will be a dedicated professional who understands the joys and demands of teaching and is experienced as a mentor and master teacher. Teachers are expected to develop daily lessons that meet the goals of the classes, complete grading, maintain an advisory group and lead advisory group meetings, as well as perform all basic administrative duties (ex. maintain attendance records, accurate grade book, comment writing).

Education/Experience Requirements:

Qualifications include: An undergraduate degree in mathematics from an accredited university.  A valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for math.  The ideal candidate should have experience teaching sixth and seventh grade math. level assigned is preferred. The candidate must have strong interpersonal communications skills and solid technology skills for use in instructional and professional tasks.
