Job Summary
Scattergood Friends School and Farm seeks an engaging math teacher to join our team of progressive educators. They would teach 2-3 math courses from September 2026 through the end of April 2027.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach one math course three mornings per week.
- Plan and deliver instruction, as well as measure and report progress to facilitate student development.
- Communicate frequently with students and school staff in ways that nurture a healthy learning experience for students.
- Model the values of Scattergood Friends School.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in math or related field (preferred).
- Ability to design and implement courses that motivate and engage students.
- Secondary teaching experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
