We are seeking applications for participation from early career AMTE members or AMTE members new to publication who are interested in having one of their manuscripts reviewed. The goal of this program is to support AMTE members by providing a safe and encouraging environment to receive feedback on a manuscript. Each MRG will ideally consist of three members: one AMTE member that is relatively new to publishing (e.g., doctoral student, early career), the mentee, and two other AMTE members, the mentors. Each MRG will be tasked with reviewing one manuscript, submitted by the mentee. |
We are seeking AMTE members who will be attending the 2026 Annual Conference and would be willing to serve as AMTE Manuscript Mentors. Reports from past MRG mentees unanimously indicated that the guidance they received from mentors was invaluable, so please consider volunteering for this important and meaningful service! Each MRG will ideally consist of three members: one mentee (e.g. an early career AMTE member or a member who is a novice author) and two other AMTE members. Each MRG will be tasked with reviewing one manuscript, submitted by the mentee. There will be an MRG specifically for doctoral students who are looking to publish work from their dissertations. The goal of this program is to support early career and novice author AMTE members by providing a safe and encouraging environment to receive feedback on a manuscript. |
