Job Title:    HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHER 1.0 FTE (MULTIPLE OPENINGS)
Deliver engaging, high-quality standards-aligned mathematics instruction to high school students using effective, research-based instructional practices that meet diverse learning needs at the high school level. This role includes collaboration with families and colleagues, planning and teaching integrated math content, using assessment data to inform instruction, supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) structures, and incorporating technology to enhance engagement.
 

Qualifications:                    

  • State of Michigan Teaching Certificate - Mathematics, EX Endorsement (required)
  • Experience teaching high school students (preferred)
  • Experience teaching high school mathematics and Advanced Placement courses (preferred)
  • Experience in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) & Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies (PBIS)
  • Experience teaching or implementing International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) programmes (preferred)
  • Experience developing and utilizing a variety of assessments to inform teaching

  • Willingness and ability to contribute to a team-based approach to planning and school-wide initiatives
  • Successful classroom management strategies and skills
  • Willingness and ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
  • Ability to complete other duties as assigned

Rate:              Per Contract Salary Schedule
