LAKELAND UNIVERSITY, an independent liberal arts institution located in east central Wisconsin, invites applications from a diverse group of qualified candidates for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics, to begin August 2024. Lakeland seeks a candidate committed to serving a diverse student community who could teach a range of undergraduate courses within the mathematics, statistics, and data science programs, and teach courses within Lakeland's interdisciplinary core curriculum.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit Catholic institution, seeks to fill up to two Renewable Term Lecturer positions in lower-division mathematics, commencing September 1, 2023. The position requires teaching seven lower-division mathematics courses, such as: Pre-calculus, Finite Mathematics, The Nature of Mathematics, Calculus I, II, III, IV (for Science and Engineering majors), Business Calculus I and II, Calculus for Life Sciences I and II, and Introduction to Statistics.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To increase student achievement in grades 6-8 math by continuing to improve the quality of instruction in
the secondary math program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college; Master’s degree preferred
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject level assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Effective oral and written communications
A high degree of success in current assignment
Demonstrated leadership experience
