Mathematics Education

Tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Mathematics at the Assistant Professor level. Primary responsibilities relate to teaching undergraduate mathematics courses, including implementing effective teaching strategies and developing curriculum. Scholarly activity and university service are also expected.

Penn State Behrend invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position in Mathematics Education and Mathematics to begin August 2018. Applicants must have a M.Ed., MAT, or M.S. in Mathematics or Mathematics Education (or related field). The applicant should have experience teaching middle or high school mathematics (grades 7-12), with a preference given to applicants with experience mentoring pre-service or early career teachers.

The Department of Mathematics at the California State University Channel Islands invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education beginning Fall 2018. Excellence in teaching, research and experience with pre-service and in-service teachers is essential. The department seeks an educator who will help strengthen the student learning and success goals (for majors and non-majors) with methods established as effective in the literature on teaching and learning.
