STaR Program Cohort Challenge

Soon after the 2021 AMTE STaR Fellows complete their Virtual Summer Institute this June, we will officially launch our 2021 STaR Cohort Challenge. Each STaR cohort (from 2010 through 2020) will be challenged to raise enough money from within their cohort to sponsor one STaR Fellow in 2022.

At least one person from each STaR Cohort has been designated as a liaison for this project. These liaisons will be coordinating the efforts within their cohort to raise the $1,700 needed to sponsor one Fellow. Cohorts that are successful in reaching this goal will be recognized at the 2022 AMTE Conference and in Connections. The cohort that raises the most money will receive a special coveted prize (could it be a Stockpot of Stardom?).

The liaisons are:

2010 – Jeremy Zelkowski, Farshid Safi, Kristen Bieda

2011 – Lisa Poling

2012 – Laura Bofferding, Matt Switzer

2013 – Ryan Fox

2014 – Susanna Molitoris Miller, Sararose Lynch

2015 – Matthew Campbell, Lara Dick

2016 – Natasha Gerstenschlager

2017 – Jennifer Lovett

2018 – Melissa Gallagher, Madelyn Colonnese

2019 – Jennifer Ward, Katie Baker

2020 – Brooke Ernest, Michelle King
