Make your plans now to attend the 2027 AMTE Annual Conference in Baltimore, MD, February 11-13, 2027.
The hotel and conference will be held at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront. Join us in Baltimore to connect with all your mathematics teacher education friends and colleagues!
Similar to last year, there will be a hybrid option for this year’s conference. In addition to attending the opening keynote session and two plenary sessions, hybrid attendees will have several concurrent sessions available during most time slots throughout the three-day conference. In addition, there will be sessions scheduled on Saturday geared toward our K-12 colleagues and partners.

Please join us for the following meals, breaks, and receptions:
- Early evening reception on Wednesday prior to the conference for past/present STaR Fellows and staff.
- Reception for BIPOC Scholars will take place Wednesday evening following the STaR reception.
- On Thursday, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon break will be provided; dinner is on your own.
- After the Advocacy and Emerging Issues Session on Thursday, the Reception for Graduate Students and Early Career Faculty will be held.
- On Friday, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon break will be provided; dinner is on your own.
- ON Friday, after the Judith E. Jacobs lecture, the reception for LGBTQIA+ will be held.
- Saturday, there will be coffee in the morning. Breakfast and lunch is on your own.
Please register before January 8, 2027 to ensure your dietary restrictions are accommodated.
Conference registration is available on the AMTE conference website. Registration fees vary by deadline date. Early registration, at reduced rates, is available through Wednesday, September 30, 2026 (speaker registration deadline as well). The regular registration deadline is Tuesday, December 15, 2026, and the late registration deadline is Friday, February 5, 2027. There will be on-site registration this year. This price will go into effect on Saturday, February 6, 2027. You will notice a slight increase in conference rates this year. As food, hotel, and other contract rates continue to rise nationally, we adjusted our rates to keep up with inflation. We are excited to announce that we negotiated a competitive nightly hotel rate (see below), which we trust will help balance increased registration costs.

A block of rooms for AMTE attendees has been made available at the conference hotel, Marriott Baltimore Waterfront. The hotel room rate is $179 per night (plus taxes and fees) for single or double occupancy. To receive the conference rate, click on the Reservation Link. The reservation link is also available on the conference website. This rate will be available until Monday, January 18, 2027, or until the conference block is full.
