Position Summary:
Bilkent University invites applications for a full-time position as an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor for September 2017.
Main responsibilities include:
- teaching graduate level courses
- advising/supervising master's and doctoral students,
- supervising student-teachers in field experiences,
- establishing a scholarly agenda through publications and projects
Required qualifications:
- a PhD degree in Mathematics Education, or Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization, or concentration, in Mathematics Education.
- record of strong scholarly productivity and/or evidence of emerging research agenda
Preferred qualifications: Experience of teaching in teacher education programs, graduate level teaching/supervision experience, a teaching certificate/license, and/or high school teaching experience.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include rent-free furnished accommodation on campus, and subsidized health insurance.
