The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Santa Clara University invites applications for a three-year (renewable) Lecturer position in mathematics education to run and assess a relatively small Mathematics Learning Center and teach at least three lower-division undergraduate mathematics courses per year. We are interested in candidates with strong backgrounds in the best practices for mathematics pedagogy and assessment of student learning. The successful candidate will have strength in both mathematics and mathematics education.  Candidates must have a graduate degree, preferably a Ph.D./Ed.D., in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field, to be completed by September 1, 2020. Position available starting September 1, 2020. The closing date for applications is December 31, 2019 at 3pm Pacific Time.
