The 2016 cohort of STaR Fellows was named just before the Annual Meeting. This new cohort includes 32 first or second year faculty members from across the country. This brings the total number of STaR Fellows to 239! The group will convene in Park City, Utah for 5 days in June (11-16) for collaboration and mentoring related to service, teaching, and research. The Institute will be co-directed by Karen Hollebrands and Denise Spangler with Sandra Crespo, Tim Hendrix, Keith Leatham, Jeff Shih, and Jeff Wanko serving as program staff. 

The 2015 cohort participated in a 4-hour workshop prior to the start of the AMTE Annual Conference in Irvine, CA. Fellows had an opportunity to reconnect with their small groups from the summer to give updates and plan future work related to teaching and research. Following the workshop, STaR Fellows enjoyed catching up at a reception.
